Throughout this class my eye for photography has widened and become something that I never thought it would be. The first time I walked in this class I thought it was just an eye you were born with or not. The perfecting a photo is more mechanical than you might think. There are measurements and applications you can apply while taking a photo that brings it to a new level. Not only did my eye for the mechanics and composition for taking a photo become enhanced greatly, my photo shopping skills made the editing of photos much easier. I became so familiar with the program at the end of the trimester I truly felt like I could see it correctly with no hesitation. My first photo with no editing versus my last photo with editing. My first photoshop assignment versus my last photoshop assignment.

For this photo I decided to take photos of a close up leaves and succulent plants I really like how I can capture the color and texture through the usage of macro.
So for this assignment, we followed many photoshopping tutorials and tried to copy them. For this tutorial we had to add texture to the face. For this tutorial we took a colored picture and made a focal point a colored object and have it be the only colored object. For this tutorial we had to take two images and layer them on top of each other and make a warped sphere around the woman. I liked this assignment because it made it easier to figure out other photoshopping assignments because of how I can follow the directions now.
For this assignment, we took puns and made them into visual puns with pictures placed on a colorful background. The hardest part of this assignment was trying to come up with ideas but as the trimester has gone on, I have found that my photoshop skills have gotten so much more fluid and easier to complete.
For this photo assignment we took multiple versions of the same picture and having them constantly move into different poses and then used photoshop to layer them on top of each other and then slowly start to reveal each layer. This assignment was something that I struggled with, just because the photoshop and the act of layering and revealing them. I liked how many skills I learned from this assignment. It was fun and I enjoyed all the fun photos we could take and the finished product was very cool!
For this photoshop assignment we used previously taken photos of the school or went out and took them ourselves. Then we took that photo and transformed it into another scene totally different then the original. I really enjoyed doing this assignment and it gave me a good grasp on my photoshop skills. It was hard to get a hold of at first but after a couple of minutes of practice it was fun and you could use creativity to enhance it.
For this assignment I took photos of my friends dog trying to capture the different personality of the dogs. It was really difficult to take a picture of a dog because they both kept moving. This was so difficult to do because of how rambunctious the dogs were but it was fun and taught me that you need two people for a photo shoot like this
For this assignment we went around the school and took horizontal or vertical pictures that had a 30% or 40% overlap. Then we put them into photoshop and photo-merged them to create a panoramic. I thought that learning about panoramic was very interesting and I never knew how to do that. I would definitely do it again in a city or field.
In this assignment we had to take a photo of a car and copy the pre-edited car. Then for the second car we edited we could make it any way we wanted. The following car is what I edited on my own This was the first time I have ever used photoshop and that was a very interesting learning experience for me. I really enjoyed this assignment because of all the knew things I learned.
For photo 2 I took pictures of flowers that I got for my birthday and then tried to capture the light and shadow shining through the flower petals. I loved taking pictures of the beautiful pink flowers and the light and contrast in the light in the petals. I like how the window behind it had a blue effect behind the warm colored flowers.
